A serious illness can exact a financial toll on families and treatment can become a full-time job with all the appointments and tests….all this on top of not feeling well from the illness and treatment. Again this past Christmas, the ZCOA helped make the holidays less stressful for a woman undergoing cancer treatment at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center by sponsoring her for our “Adopt-a-Family”. We were happy to be able to support a member of our community and make her life a bit easier! Thanks to ZCOA member Jane for coordinating again this year!
